LanHelper is an easy to use and powerful network management utility. It allows you to operate and manage your computer by executing commands on a remote system.
You need not install an extra server program. It can scan for abundance of network information such as IP addresses, access to shared resources etc. and then determine if they are protected or restricted. Any machine located on the network can be shut down or rebooted from a remote computer. Not only that, you can also execute commands, open files etc. using the remote execute functionality. Track whether your computer name or IP address is modified and whether machine is online. It makes even sending messages across the network easy. The results of the scan are saved as an XML file which can be later converted into an HTML table for reading easily on a browser. The interface is multilingual supporting English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
